Love, betrayal and exotic backgrounds in the new Emil Loparski & Gabriela video "Let Me Go"
Niakoi Den
Love, beautiful women, temptation, betrayal and exotic places in the new video of Emil Loparski & Gabriela - "Let Me Go". This time the self-producing duo takes us to China, where a regular love story goes wrong. For more visual information, please click on the article above.

Here we are, with both of them, speaking about this exciting project:

„Let Me Go" was born in China, where we spent 6 months, between 2016 and 2017. We had a contract at a five star hotel in Qingdao, and we had to learn to perform in Chinese Mandarin... and this particular footage, we’ve never showed it to anyone before...
We're definately very happy with the result.
We literally recorded the song at our hotel room in China just like we did in 2013 with the song "I Ain't Gonna Stand No More" in India, risking a complaint from the guests from the other rooms. That, fortunately, didn't happen“
– Gabriela laughs.

Emil says:

„The ideas for the video were coming in parallel with the audio recording. We wanted it to be dark and sexy, we were imagining it to be, in a way, quite contrary to the song, so it could bring the visual surprise. We started shooting in Qingdao, that's quite close to North Korea, in the middle of a big crowdy plaza. As I was filming her singing, the chinese surrounded us, encouraging her, clapping their hands, taking pictures, and some of them were even taking selfies in the middle of our work.
Anyway, we spent, not more than 15 minutes there.
The actors - we chose our long time friend of ours Marieta Kuleva, she is beautiful and talented singer, who managed to surprise us with her acting skills.
Iva Atanasova is the seducing maid, I didn't know this girl before we hire her, but I can tell you, that there is no better actress for that role, and of course the great young actor Krassimir Mitov.
I didn't have to direct, it was more like, they were inspiring me, even more, with their play.
We hope the people to appreciate something that is not made for the charts, or money. It was only made for the music and for fun!“
